Requirements for Speech Recognition
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
The install process checks that your system meets the minimum requirements; if
they are not met,
Dragon NaturallySpeaking will not be installed.
• CPU: minimum 1 GHz Intel® Pentium® or equivalent AMD processor or 1.66 GHz
Intel® Atom® processor. We recommend 1.8 GHz Intel ual Core™ or equivalent AMD
processor.
(IMPORTANT: SSE2 instruction set required).
• Processor Cache: minimum 512 KB.
We recommend 2 MB.
• Free hard disk space: 2.5 GB.
• Supported Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit. Microsoft
Windows Vista SP1 and SP2, 32-bit and 64-bit. Microsoft Windows XP SP2 and SP3,
32-bit only. Windows Server 2003 nd 2008, SP1, SP2 and R2, 32-bit and 64-bit.

What are Citrix ICA clients?
A Citrix ICA client is the software component that that allows you to use
Windows programs running on another machine as if it were running on your own
machine. Your computer's keyboard, mouse and monitor are used for interacting
with the program, but the actual processing happens on a server. For more

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 supports Citrix Presentation Server™ 4.0 or Citrix

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 support?
Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 supports Citrix ICA clients 8.x and 9.x on Windows

What versions of Windows servers are supported
for running Citrix and Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10?
Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000 Advanced Server running Terminal Services.
Does Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 support
accessing Citrix through a device running another operating system, such as MAC
OS, Linux, Windows CE or Windows XPe?
No. This is not supported at this time.
What versions of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10
can operate in Citrix thin-client environments?
Citrix support is only available in Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Professional and
Legal editions, as well as Dragon Medical.
Is Citrix support included in Dragon
NaturallySpeaking 10?
Yes. In general, a separate Dragon NaturallySpeaking license must be purchased
for each speaker that creates a Dragon NaturallySpeaking user profile in Citrix.
Note also that special licensing terms apply for education institutions. Contact
Nuance sales or your Certified Solutions Provider for details regarding
licensing.
Can I access Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 on a
Citrix server via a wireless connection (802.11)?
Yes.
What languages can I utilize Dragon
NaturallySpeaking 10 with in Citrix?
Currently, Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 can only be used in Citrix with US
English. Support for other languages will continue to be added.
